Questae Collective are proud to offer our Menopause in the Workplace Program

Combining education, wellness support, and policy development to foster a compassionate menopause-inclusive workplace.

Every woman’s journey is unique, and whilst some women can sail through it, many suffer unbearable symptoms that they just aren’t prepared for, or even knew were related to menopause, simply because the education hasn’t been there. It has remained a bit of a taboo subject, that women have simply been expected to deal with quietly.

During this 1-hour session, or series of sessions, we will look at what the menopause is, why it happens, and what can happen.

We will look at symptom awareness, and what the workplace can do to support women going through the menopause. We will also look at what women can do to support themselves, so they can better manage symptoms, feel more empowered and able to vocalise.

Menopause training in the workplace can provide a variety of benefits to businesses. Here are some of the key advantages:

Improved Employee Wellbeing: Offering menopause training can create a more supportive and understanding environment for employees who are experiencing menopause symptoms. This helps reduce feelings of isolation or embarrassment and encourages employees to seek support when needed.

Increased Retention and Job Satisfaction: Supporting employees through menopause can increase their loyalty and satisfaction with the company. Employees are more likely to stay with a company that is attentive to their health and wellbeing, reducing turnover rates.

Reduced Absenteeism: Menopause can sometimes lead to physical or emotional symptoms that affect attendance. By providing training and accommodations, businesses can help employees manage these challenges and reduce the number of sick days taken.

Enhanced Workplace Culture: Fostering an inclusive and understanding workplace culture can improve morale across the entire workforce. When employers show they care about employees’ health and life stages, it enhances overall workplace relationships and a sense of belonging.

Increased Productivity: When employees feel supported and understood, they are likely to be more productive. Training can help reduce the impact of menopause symptoms, such as fatigue or cognitive difficulties, on performance, leading to better overall productivity.

Demonstrating Corporate Social Responsibility: By offering menopause support and training, businesses show their commitment to gender equality and social responsibility. This can improve the company’s reputation and position it as a leader in progressive workplace practices.

Better Management of Diverse Needs: Menopause training helps managers understand the various physical and emotional symptoms their employees might experience. This can lead to better management of individual needs, making managers more effective in supporting their teams.

Attraction of Talent: A company that offers menopause training and support is likely to stand out as an employer of choice, especially for women in the middle to later stages of their careers. This can help attract diverse talent and create a more inclusive workforce.

Incorporating menopause training is a strategic move that can enhance employee engagement, reduce turnover, and foster an inclusive, supportive work environment.
